The rules apply to Admins and members alike

2. Art theft is NOT allowed. If you saw someone in this club claiming to have been using your art, report it to this club as a note. Confidentiality is present.

3. Please just do some kid-friendly deviations here.
Moderate amount of blood. Maintain an art that uses small amount of blood yet not that extremely violent.
Mild nudity is allowed. But anything promoting sexual themes are strictly prohibited. Take note of "MILD"
We are a general audience here in dA so don't ever try to break that.

4. Only members are allowed to submit art here. Art refers to Yu-Gi-Oh! related material (fandom, official, etc.) in this club.

here to help out with the latest rule changes and such. I've been asked by to explain the rule with claiming duel monsters upon joining the club. So here goes:

Once a duel monster has been claimed all other forms (or what we deem to be another form) of that monster cannot be claimed.
Example: Magician of Black Chaos is claimed, thus Dark Magician of Chaos cannot be claimed.

This also includes Fusions. If the Fusion monster is claimed before the material is then the material and other forms of those material monsters cannot be claimed and vice versa.

Example 1: B. Skull Dragon is claimed before Red-Eyes B. Dragon and Summoned Skull. This then means that neither Summoned Skull nor Red-Eyes B. Dragon can be claimed and on top of that Archfiend Zombie-Skull, Skull Archfiend of Lightning, Red-Eyes B. Chick, Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, Red-Eyes Wyvern and even Meteor Black Dragon cannot be claimed. Also in this case, although Meteor Black Dragon cannot be claimed, Meteor Dragon can.

Example 2: If Knight of Destiny is claimed then none of the knights, dragons or fusions with those cards can be claimed but the other material of those fusions can be so long as they or another form of theirs has not been claimed. (e.g. Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight, Timeus (sp?) cannot be claimed but Dark Magician Girl can be provided she or another form of hers, e.g. Toon Dark Magician Girl, has not been claimed)

Another situation that comes up is with cards like the Harpie Ladies. Here's how this will work:
Harpie Lady/Harpie Lady 1/ Cyber Harpie Lady: These have all been deemed to be different forms of the same monster and thus if one of these is claimed the others cannot be.
Harpie Lady Sisters: If this is claimed first then Harpie Lady 2 and Harpie Lady 3 and also Harpie Lady 1, Cyber Harpie Lady and Harpie Lady herself cannot be claimed. If however one of these is claimed before Harpie Lady Sisters then Harpie Lady Sisters cannot be claimed. This is because Harpie Lady 2 and 3 are sisters of Harpie Lady/Harpie Lady 1/Cyber Harpie Lady and thus are not the same monster but Harpie Lady Sisters is another form of all 3 of these. (so the fusion rule basically applies to this situation).

Last situation: If for example, Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys is claimed then Dark Nephthys becomes unclaimable and vice versa. This is because they are the same monster just one happens to be a dark/evil version.

Just incase people are wondering this does not apply to the likes of Kuriboh and Winged Kuriboh as they are two seperate monsters. The reasoning behind this is that, for example, Armed Dragon Lv7 and Dark Armed Dragon are never shown on the same card, however Winged Kuriboh and Kuriboh are deeming them to be two seperate monsters.

To make things perhaps a little easier for those deciding on a monster to claim we shall be adding a list of monster forms that cannot be claimed below. This list will not include the form that has already been claimed so check the member's list for that if you want to check.

There are some clashes that need to be sorted out (mainly with Dark Magician forms/fusions and the Elemental Hero fusions) and some mre may need to be added when i have time and when the decision on the last situation is decided upon so watch this space for updates.
