Welcome to the club, yada yada... Once again, I have been absent. Sorry folks, but I had some personal problems I had to take care of before I could run this club successfully. That should be behind us now, here I am. If I don't update at least 7 days, you may kick me in the butt. (not! XD)

The rules about claiming Duel Monsters are clear now.Taking a look at them would be useful. Also, we have to take care of those members who claimed monsters which interfere with the rules.

How to Join

2. Send us a note entitled with the subject "Join". Also include a Yu-Gi-Oh! Card name that is not found in the Members List ([link])
2b. The Duel Monster might still be unavailable - if the Duel Monster you want to claim has multiple forms, and one of the forms is already taken, you cannot claim the other form. For example, Blue-Eyes White Dragon is taken. That means you cannot claim Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon etc.
3. Please be cooperative and be productive in this club!

Assault Mode / Ultimate Mode Contest

This contest is inspired by the new Assault Mode archetype in the card game. Choose a Duel Monster (or more) - and make them evolve! Usually, Assault Mode is for Synchro monsters only, so if you don't want to draw a Synchro, you can choose ANY Duel Monster and name it, for example, Dark Magician Girl/Ultimate Mode, or you can even call her Dark Magician Girl/Assault Mode, even though she isn't a Synchro. The main thing is that the Duel Monster you choose is evolved on your entry.

Questions:

- Do I have to DRAW the monster(s)? (Accent on DRAW!!! Of course it's you who has to do it. )

If you have any other idea on how to create an Assault/Ultimate Mode, send a note to the club and the admin will see if that idea is valid.

- Do we have to call them Ultimate Mode, or Assault Mode?

No. But you have to follow the rules and create an evolved form of an already existing monster. You can draw something like Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, Dark Sage, Dark Magician Knight... that sort of thing. Of course, you won't draw these I mentioned, nor will you draw an already existing evolved form. You should make up your own evolved version of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Dark Magician and so on, in case you choose those monsters.

- Can I make an evolved form of my own monster?

In case you want to enter this contest with an Assault/Ultimate Mode of your own creation, you should make an entry that contains both the original and its Assault/Ultimate Mode on it. You can submit separate deviations as one contest entry, as long as one of them is your original Duel Monster and the other one its evolved form.

- Let's say I'm drawing Blue-Eyes White Dragon/Assault Mode. Can I draw Blue-Eyes himself on the same deviation?

So, you want to draw both Blue-Eyes and its evolved form on one deviation? Sure, that is ok.

- When is the deadline?

Entries will be accepted until 20th August, 2009, 23:59.

- How to submit my entry?

Link to it in a note with "Contest entry" as a title.

- I have another question.
